Highly Unlikely, But Never Say No!

We`re back in that corridor of uncertainty, the corridor whereby speculation is rife that a player might be coming to Old Trafford, but only if other events align themselves as well.

I was tempted to ignore this piece of transfer gossip after it first appeared on Tuesday, but after a second source mentioned it this morning (Wednesday), I thought why not.

But, returning to the other events aligning themselves as well, this signing relates to a certain Jose Mourinho being installed as the manager of Manchester United Football Club, something the Portuguese Special One shrugged his shoulders about when asked by the media today.

But, moving on, and finally getting to reveal the name of the player who has appeared in transfer speculation on two successive days, with the latest source being the Metro, the player in question is the Braga midfielder Rafa Silva.

The twenty-two year-old midfielder is bracketed in the £15.5 million bracket and our source suggests that Jose Mourinho rates the player very highly.

But will all this come to fruition, I`m damned if I know but I will endeavour to keep on top of any such gossip, however unlikely it may seem!
