All the talk recently has been of David de Gea being offered a deal that would see the Spaniard remain a Manchester United player for the rest of his career.

Talk of a huge salary was meant to be enough to permanently quell any speculation linking the player with a move to the Spanish giants, Real Madrid.

Plus, transfer tittle-tattle was suggesting that the Bernabeu outfit were set to end their quest for a top-notch goalkeeper by signing Kepa from another Spanish club, Athletic Bilbao.

But like the best laid plans, it`s all gone a bit pear-shaped.

The good folk of the red-top tabloid publication, the Mirror, are reporting that Kepa, surprisingly, has rejected the chance to join Real Madrid.

Which, in turn, gives our referenced source with enough foundations to suggest that Real Madrid could now turn their attention to guess who!

It won`t happen will it, surely!
