The future of the French striker, Antoine Griezmann, features in the media this morning.

Reading between the lines, it would appear that the next stop-off point in the career of the 26-year-old striker will be either Manchester United or Barcelona.

According to the popular red-top news source, The Sun, Manchester United will need to dig deep to secure the services of the Atletico Madrid striker.

As well as having to meet the buy-out clause in his contract, a supposed figure of ?100 million, the striker is, so our aforementioned source is reporting, is demanding a weekly salary of a staggering £400,000 a week.

Now whether those financial statistics will dampen any enthusiasm Manchester United may have to complete the deal, either in the January transfer window or the summer one, remains to be seen.

We`ll keep a watchful eye on events and report back as deemed necessary.
