If Manchester United do harbour serious ambitions of bringing Antoine Griezmann to Old Trafford this summer, somebody will need to have a very persuasive tongue.

The Atletico Madrid striker has again demonstrated his prowess in front of goal this season accumulating 20 goals.

His buy-out clause in his contract is a huge £85 million, but according to the Daily Mirror, the fee isn`t the problem.

It seems that Griezmann has no desire to leave his current club and is quoted as having remarked,

‘I always get the same questions about my future and it is getting a bit tiresome.

‘Like I always say, I am very happy here at Atletico and in Madrid.

‘The weather is great, my team-mates are some of the best you can have and I am working with a great coach.

‘So I am feeling very well here. I see no reason why I would want to leave.’

Like I mentioned earlier, somebody is going to have to be hugely persuasive if Manchester United ever get close to even talking to the player about a move to Old Trafford.
