The Manchester United legend that is Ryan Giggs, hasn`t worked in top-class football since Louis Van Gaal was axed in May 2016.

However, it is being reported that Giggs is set to sign a consultancy deal whereby he`ll become director of football at a Vietnamese football academy.

The deal is for 2 years and would see Giggs responsible for coaching players and training coaches.

However, during those 2-years, Giggs will only be expected to make two trips a year to Vietnam.

During his playing career with Manchester United, Giggs won the top-flight title 13 times.

After hanging up his boots he stepped into the void when David Moyes was sacked and was the assistant to Louis van Gaal during the Dutchman`s tenure at Old Trafford.

Ryan will be flying off to Vietnam for an inauguration ceremony next week.

Here at Vital Manchester United we wish Ryan well in his new position and we`re sure he`ll be a success.
