Ben Foster has been included in the first eleven for tomorrow’s clash with Spain at Old Trafford. It will be the keeper’s first ever game at the Theatre of Dreams.

Amazingly, on-loan goalkeeper Foster never played a game at Old Trafford. He’s been on loan at Watford almost since we bought him now but due to the agreement he can’t play against his parent club so Wednesday’s game will be the first ever occasion he graces the Old Trafford turf.

The line-up: Foster (Watford) – Gary Neville (Man Utd), Phil Neville (Everton), Rio Ferdinand (Man Utd), Woodgate (Middlesbrough) – Gerrard (Liverpool, capt), Carrick (Man Utd), Lampard (Chelsea) – Wright-Phillips (Chelsea Crouch (Liverpool), Dyer (Newcastle).

Interesting line-up. I assume Rooney is out because of his minor injury but why SWP instead of Lennon?
