Former United Defender Banned by UEFA.

You may recall recently, we ran a front-page article relating to a bizarre incident featuring our former full-back Patrice Evra.

The incident took place back on the 2 November 2017 when Evra, playing for Marseille against Vitoria Guimaraes, ended up, during the warm-up, Kung-Fu kicking one of his own supporters.

Even though the game had yet to start, Evra was shown a straight red-card by the referee,

As a consequence of the shock waves that reverberated around Europe after the incident, it has been revealed today that Evra`s contract with Marseille has been cancelled by mutual consent.

Also, Evra has been banned by UEFA from competing in their competitions for seven months, as well as being fined ?10,000.

With Evra now 36-years-of-age, could this signal the end of his playing career?
