Former United Boss Set For A Second Spell At A Previous Club

|

These are busy times for our ex-manager, Jose Mourinho.

Aside from making a bit of an ass of himself by falling over as he became, for some reason, involved in an ice-hockey match in Russia and then finding himself staring down the barrel of a jail sentence, in Spain, after falling foul of the Spanish tax laws, the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ also has the small problem of finding suitable employment.

After all, when you’ve had to hand over a considerable amount of Euro’s to the Spanish tax authorities, that bulging compensation plot Mourinho has amassed after suddenly departing several high-profile jobs, doesn’t last forever.

Today, lurking in the pages of the red-top publication, the Mirror, is the inference that Mourinho could be returning to take over the managerial hot-seat of a club he has previously managed, the Serie A side, Inter Milan.

Mourinho had considerable success at inter and, obviously, the Italian club are hoping that he can replicate that success during a second stint at the club.

Returning to a former club isn’t something new to Mourinho, after guiding Chelsea to back-to-back Premier League titles and then departing on acrimonious terms, he returned to lead the West London club to another title before, once again, departing under a dark cloud.

Now, whether Mourinho will, one-day, return to take charge of Manchester United a second time remains to be seen, who knows what will happy in the topsy-turvy world of modern-day football.

But, if he does take charge of Inter Milan for a second time, you can be sure that one thing is certain, the fates will conspire to ensure that our paths will cross again!
