Any interest Manchester United had in acquiring the services of the Brazilian, Firmani, appear to have fallen by the wayside.

Despite our protestations to the contrary, it appears that the 23-year-old has fallen for the lack of charm offered by Merseyside and signed on the dotted line for our Premier League rivals, Liverpool.

Seemingly, the Hoffenheim player is more than happy to pledge his future to the middle-of-the-table side for a five year period with the hefty transfer fee of £29 million exiting Liverpool`s account and heading off to Germany.

Here at Vital Manchester United we`d like to wish him all the best, he might just need it!
