Although I`m a United supporter through and through and have the utmost admiration for Sir Alex Ferguson, I can`t help thinking his barking up the wrong tree with a comment he`s attributed as having made.

Following the carnival that was Sunday and having the Premier League trophy ripped from our grasp, Sir Alex Ferguson has inferred that all the games should not only kick-off at the same time (as they did), but end at the same time as well, remarking,

“The Premier League needs to look into it. No team should be finishing after the other. We thought we`d done it.”

In theory it may make sense but circumstances will always contrive to make it impossibility?

There`s no way that, following a bad injury or multiple substitutions that a team should be deprived of playing the full ninety-minutes, games are always going to end at different times.

So on this occasion Sir Alex, I`ll have to disagree with you and also point out would you still be saying the same thing if the boot were on the other foot on Sunday?
