I guess I might have to get ready to eat a huge slice of humble pie.

Several times in the last few weeks I`ve delivered my opinion relating to Radamel Falcao.

I`ve been insistent that there`s no chance Manchester United, after his displays this season whilst being on loan from Monaco, would see the Columbian kept at the club, even less so with a permanent move set at a transfer fee of a colossal £43.2 million.

Well it appears I may be wrong!

The inference is now being given, by several news sources, implying that Manchester United might like to keep the player, on an extended loan period, until January 2016.

The thought process being that Manchester United are of the opinion that, just perhaps, Falcao hasn`t been given sufficient time to overcome the knee injury that kept him out of the 2014 World Cup and that, just perhaps, there is a lot more to come from the player.

What`s the verdict?

Am I right or are the club right?

Does Falcao have a future at Old Trafford or is he, as a world-class striker, a spent force?
