I am not sure what to make of the FA Cup 5th round ties being played in midweek.

To me, it goes against tradition but in these challenging times we all have to make exceptions.

Tonight, Manchester United welcome West Ham United, to Old Trafford, for a 5th round FA Cup tie.

The tie sees David Moyes make a return to Old Trafford with a West Ham side with whom he has revitalised his managerial career.

Due to some astute transfer window business and by utilisation of his managerial acumen, Moyes has steered West Ham to the upper echelons of the Premier League table and with a chance of European football, next season, if this progress is maintained.

There is also the added spice of Moyes having been axed from the Manchester United hot seat before he really had chance to show he was worthy to follow in the footsteps of Sir Alex Ferguson.

Although the FA Cup has, usually, been used to give fringe players the opportunity to get some first team action, I reckon this tie could buck the trend with both managers fielding strong sides.

With the kick-off fast approaching, we are now able to reveal the team sheets.

Starting with Manchester United:

Continuing with our visitors, West Ham United:

In a game that must be settled on the night, lets hope it is Manchester United who find themselves in the draw for the 6th round.
