FA Cup – Manchester United v Brighton – Early Team-News

|

After exiting the Champions League, at the hands of Sevilla in midweek, Manchester United welcome Brighton to Old Trafford for an FA Cup quarter-final today.

The FA Cup remains the only piece of silverware that Manchester United can win this season.

Ahead of the evening kick-off, with the match being screened live, we`ve assembled some early team-news;

Starting with Manchester United:

Jose Mourinho will be without a host of first-team squad members with the likes of Phil Jones, Daley Blind, Ander Herrera, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo all still on the injured list.

The above scenario means that Jose Mourinho is likely to name the same squad that, disappointingly, exited the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

Continuing with our opponents Brighton and Hove Albion:

Chris Hughton will be hoping that the duo of Gaetan Bong and Dale Stephens can shake off injuries and play their part.

However, the Seagulls will definitely be without the services of Anthony Knockaert who is suspended after being red-carded last time out.
