The 100% record may still be intact but the manner in which Chelsea, at times, cut us open has given Patrice Evra cause for concern.

Probably surprised that the Londoners were willing to come to Old Trafford to attack, rather than defend like most other Premier League teams do, Evra had this to say about Sunday and also the way forward,

“Maybe for the first time we didn`t control the game.”

“Five wins is a good start, but I always want more. I`m happy to win, but I hope in the next league game against Stoke we create more and try not to rush things.”

“We gave the ball away too easily. It was like a boxing bout, I give you and you give me back. It was really strange.”

“It was a great game to watch for the fans, but it`s the first time I`ve played against Chelsea and seen an open game like that.”

“I`m happy because there`s a lot of positive things but, if we want to win the league and win every game, we have to perform better than on Sunday.”

Was Sunday a one off or are we in a position whereby the way in which we now play is leaving us susceptible to teams willing to gamble and have a real go?
