Wembley stages the first of the major domestic cup finals this afternoon, the EFL Cup Final.

With the FA Cup trophy already in the Old Trafford trophy cabinet, courtesy of the win at Wembley back in May 2016, Jose Mourinho will be hoping that the League Cup can be placed alongside it after the game today.

But, the older amongst us will recall the last time Manchester United played Southampton in a domestic cup final, it was the Saints that emerged victorious when Bobby Stoles scored the only goal of the game back in 1976.

Let`s hope history doesn`t repeat itself.

With the kick-off fast approaching we now have the team-sheets for you to peruse:

Manchester United – De Gea, Valencia, Bailly, Smailling, Rojo, Herrera, Pogba, Lingard, Mata, Martial, Ibrahimovic.

Subs – Romero, Blind, Young, Carrick, Fellaini, Rooney, Rashford

Southampton – Forster, Cedric, Yoshida, Stephens, Bertrand, Romeu, Davis, Ward-Prowse, Tadic, Redmond, Gabbiadini.

Subs – Hassen, Long, Rodriguez, Caceres, Boufal, Hojbjerg, McQueen.
