Don’t Dither Manchester United, Make Those Transfer Funds Available

|

As our descent out of possible Premier League title contention continues.

Yesterday, although the transfer window remains shut until January, we reported on how one leading media source was suggesting that Manchester United were interested in making a huge bid for a young midfielder who has, in the last eighteen months, progressed sufficiently to become a full England international.

Our article, united-ready-to-break-club-transfer-record-to-pair-this-target-with-paul-pogba, inferred that Manchester United’s target was the West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice.

However, some twenty-four hours later it appears a move for the aforementioned player isn’t as cut and dried as our referenced source thought.

According to The Manchester Evening News, the Manchester United hierarchy are still debating whether they will make funds available for Ole Gunnar Solksjaer to spend on bolstering a department, of the squad, that was seriously depleted with sales in the summer transfer window.

Here at Vital Manchester United, we’re pleading with the clubs’ hierarchy to allow Solksjaer the freedom to spend, even more so with the contenders for the Premier League crown, Liverpool and Manchester City, already leaving us trailing in their wake when it comes to points gained this season.

But, will it happen?

We can but wait and see!

We need the release of funds but I’m not sure I would trust Ole with them. He’ll probably go and waste a pot-full of cash on a mediocrity like Rice from West Ham instead of buying good players which we sorely need.
