Chelsea are twelve points ahead in the title charge, but a victory over West Ham would see United record seven Premiership wins on the trot.

Obviously it would take a major collapse by the Blues to give Sir Alex a sniff, but Gary Neville says the current form is a reminder to Mourinho that next season will be a different story.

Gary Neville: ‘Sunday was our seventh clean sheet in 10 home games. That record of clean sheets is more like United.

‘We have spoken about it in the dressing room – because if we are going to win championships we need to get back to keeping clean sheets all the time.

‘We are producing a brilliant level of football at the moment. We are playing really quick, attacking football and getting back to something like our best in terms of our speed on the break, so it is all looking quite good.’
