The transfer of Ji-Sung Park to Queens Park Rangers was wrapped up today.

Park has been sold for an initial fee of £2 million with Sir Alex Ferguson commenting about his somewhat unexpected departure,

‘He is the ultimate professional and such a nice lad. He never let us down on the big occasions. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t give him the number of games he wanted.’

A fair statement, as for Mark Hughes, the current QPR boss, he was excited at getting his man, commenting,

‘He’s got great energy and technical ability and will bring so much to the team. It’s an exciting time for QPR and Ji is part of that.’

‘It’s a significant signing for us as a club and as a manger it’s going to really help where I want to take the team and where the clubs wants to go as a whole.’

We wish Ji-Sung Park all the best and thank him for his much valued service to the United cause.
