According to one popular red-top publication, this season could be the last season we see David de Gea wearing a Manchester United shirt.

After resisting the overtures of the Spanish giants, Real Madrid, for the last few summers, it seems that 26-year-old de Gea could get his dream move next summer, according to The Sun.

However, it seems that it isn`t simply a case of letting de Gea go, our aforementioned source is suggesting that the move will only happen if Manchester United are able to sign the talented Gianluigi Donnarumma from Inter Milan.

Donnarumma, just 18-years-of-age, is amongst the most highly-rated goalkeepers in Europe, but AC Milan will be determined to keep their asset. If a deal were to be done though, the price Manchester United would have to pay would be interesting.

Can we see this deal happening?

My thoughts at this moment in time are no!

But strange things happen in this sport of ours!
