The temptation of playing week-in week-out in the Bernabeu is, according to the leading tabloid publication this nation produces, being very tempting for two of the top goalkeeper`s in the Premier League.

According to The Sun, we have one of those either / or situations developing, but it isn`t associated with who our FA Cup opponents might be.

Our source is suggesting that, this summer, Real Madrid will be signing a new keeper and both Manchester United`s David de Gea and Chelsea`s Thibaut Courtois are both tempted by the possibility of a return to the Spanish capital.

Real Madrid`s dalliance with regards to signing de Gea has been well documented. United`s keeper came very close to joining Real back in the summer of 2015 but a last minute facsimile communication saw the deal collapse.

After the deal collapsed, de Gea ended any rumours of joining Madrid by signing a new deal with Manchester United.

As for Thibaut, the Chelsea keeper has fond memories of Spain having spent three seasons on loan with Real`s neighbours Atletico Madrid.

Whilst Courtois is tied to Chelsea for the foreseeable future, our source has indicated that his partner and child have remained in Madrid whilst he`s been playing for the current Premier League leaders.

This summer could prove to be interesting, I wonder which of us, Manchester United or Chelsea, will lose a top-class keeper?

I guess time will tell!
