The career of one Marcus Rashford continues to generate column inches.

But then again that`s probably not a surprise considering the impact the eighteen-year-old is making.

With seven goals to his name in the thirteen appearances he`s made since his introduction to the first team, the youngster clearly has a bright future.

To that effect, there is an article that as appeared in the Times whereby it is being championed that Rashford`s form has attracted the attention of the so called super-agent Jorge Mendes.

Mendes, amongst his collection of clients, has Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho on his books, Mendes involvement is a move that, to us, signifies Rashford will become a very hot property over the coming years.

However, another snippet of information, relating to Rashford, comes from the Manchester Evening News, with the local media vehicle inferring that Louis van Gaal has remarked that he is of the opinion that Rashford Is not ready for the Manchester United first-team on a permanent basis, a statement that could be seen as controversial considering he hasn`t looked out of place since making the breakthrough.

But perhaps we should spare a thought for James Wilson who, if he hadn`t have been shunted out on loan to Brighton and Hove Albion, could well be doing what Marcus Rashford is doing right now.

I can`t help thinking this game is all about getting the breaks is it not!
