Blackburn Rovers have appointed ex-United, Liverpool and Inter Milan star Paul Ince as their new manager.

Ince follows in the footsteps of another ex-United ace Mark Hughes by plying his trade with the Lancashire based club. Indeed, Ince joins the list of 8 other ex-United players to manage in the Premier League:

– Mark Hughes (Blackburn/Man City)
– Steve Bruce (Birmingham/ Wigan)
– Steve Coppell (Reading)
– Gordon Strachan (Coventry/Southampton)
– Bryan Robson (Middlesbrough/West Brom)
– Brian Kidd (Blackburn)
– George Graham (Arsenal/Leeds/Spurs)
– Ray Wilkins (Fulham)

*Also let`s not forget Stewart Houston, who was caretaker manager at the Gunners for a brief stint in 1996.

Everyone here at Vital United would like to wish Ince all the best for the future and look forward to tussles between him and Fergie in the coming seasons.
