Deemed, so it would seem as surplus to requirements under the new regime at Old Trafford, there does appear to be genuine interest in Tom Cleverley.

Cleverley who, if were to be brutally honest, has failed to reach the standards his early potential suggested he might, is wanted by Paul Lambert, at Aston Villa.

A fee in the region of £8 million is mentioned which, considering the huge potential Cleverly has, allied with the fact he has appeared for England and his age, would suggest that Aston Villa might be getting something, if they pursue the acquisition, something of a bargain.

What are your thoughts on the subject matter though?
