Not a day goes by without something being written about our Spanish keeper in the media.

But with his future still uncertain I imagine that is only to be expected.

Today with still no news relating to whether David De Gea is leaving or staying, the current Real Madrid keeper, Iker Casillas, has more-or-less implored De Gea to make the move.

Talking to the Spanish media, Casillas is quoted as having remarked about the possibility of the arrival of some fierce competition for his green jersey,

‘If De Gea does come here, he will be welcomed.

‘Competition is good and there is not a clause in my contract which states that I have to be number one.’

Has anyone any idea when all this will come to a conclusion one way or another?
