We`ve also covered the fact that two Premier League clubs have shown an interest in the34-year-old midfielder, with those two clubs being Newcastle United and Arsenal.
However, the Sunday Express has run an article this morning suggesting that Michael Carrick is the latest player to be targeted by those clubs who are participating in the Chinese Super League, as that very league seeks to improve its profile and status in world football.
It remains to be seen whether Michael Carrick is one of those that fancies a spell in Chinese football or whether he`ll seek to remain in the Premier League, personally I suspect it will be the latter.
