With a Wembley FA Cup Final place now booked, there are currently smiles on the faces of the Manchester United support.

Having beaten Everton with a deep in stoppage time winner from Anthony Martial, Manchester United will return to Wembley Stadium, on May 21st, to take on Crystal Palace, who beat Watford 2-1 on Sunday.

The two sides have met in an FA Cup Final before and it promises to be an intriguing encounter and one in which the United support believe they will emerge victorious from.

However, Michael Carrick, an experienced professional, has issued a few words of warning with the thirty-four year-old midfielder remarking to the media,

“Two weeks ago everything was a disaster. Reaching the final doesn`t change the whole thing.

“Don`t get carried away. Winning a trophy brings belief, confidence. Hopefully, winning a trophy could be a kick-start – but we haven`t won anything yet.”

Exactly, we mustn`t count our chickens before they`ve hatched and Crystal Palace will be tough opposition on a day when shocks have happened in the past and will happen, no doubt, in the future.
