After two home fixtures against Watford and then Saint Etienne, in the Premier League and Europa League respectively, United return to FA Cup duty this Sunday.

The reigning holders are set for a 5th round tie, at Ewood Park, against Blackburn Rovers.

With the kick-off still some way off we`ve managed to cobble together some very early team news.

Starting with our hosts Blackburn:

The struggling Championship club will be without two key players, both Hope Akpan and Elliott Bennett are suspended.

Also unavailable is Lucas Joao who is cup-tied.

Their on-loan forward, Sam Gallagher, will also miss the tie after picking up an injury that needed twelve stitches in his knee.

Likely to be side-lined as well are Tommy Hoban and Corry Evans, both of whom are lacking match fitness.

Continuing with Manchester United:

Phil Jones could return after recovering from a foot injury picked up several games ago against Hull City.

It remains to be seen whether Henrikh Mkhitaryan has recovered from the illness that kept him out of the squad for the Europa League game against Saint Etienne.

Wayne Rooney and Michael Carrick remain doubts for the tie both due to muscle problems.
