As a replacement for you know who!

With the speculation relating to the possible exit of David De Gea being somewhat relentless, we have to ask whether Manchester United are taking steps to secure a possible replacement just in case we are left without the Spaniard come next season.

Today it is being suggested that Manchester United are taking a serious look at the Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Bergovic. The 27 year-old Bosnian is approaching the end of his contract and is seen as the ideal replacement for a possibly Spain bound De Gea.

Would his potential signing alleviate possibly losing the talented De Gea?

Your thoughts on the subject matter would be most appreciated.
