As Manchester United prepare to face Arsenal in what could be a crucial fixture with regards to who finishes in the automatic Champions League qualifying places, we`ve delved into the record and form books to see what might lie in store for us.

– United`s recent record against Arsenal is impressive. In the last seven Premier League meetings United have won 5 and drawn 2.

– In the last 12 Premier League meetings United have lost just the once.

– If Arsenal go 1-0 up be wary. On the last 5 occasions Arsenal have won at Old Trafford it has been by that 1-0 score-line.

– United`s recent form at Old Trafford is good winning 7 out of their last 8 fixtures.

– In their home Premier League fixtures, Manchester United have accumulated 43 points, only the champions, Chelsea, have accumulate dmore with 46

– United have not kept a clean sheet in their last seven games, the last time United failed to keep a clean sheet in eight games was back in September 2001.

– Scoring, in our last four games, has been a problem, United have managed just two goals.

– Arsenal are in fine form when it comes to away fixtures with Arsene Wengers side having won their last 5 away games.

– But, looking at away fixtures against the current top nine in the Premier League Wenger`s side don`t fare so well, wining just 1 (against Manchester City), drawing 1 and losing 5.

– The danger man for Arsenal could be Alexis Sanchez. In his first season at Arsenal, Sanchez has scored 16 Premier League goals, only Thierry Henry, in a first season, has scored more with 17.
