Tonight, across the city, our noisy-neighbours are set to entertain Real Madrid.

Much to our envy, the fixture is the first-leg of a two legged semi-final, the first time Manchester City have been involved in such a prestigious tie.

Although Manchester United have tasted European Cup and Champions League glory, on several occasions, our recent European form, whereby we exited the Champions League in the group stage and fell at the first hurdle in the Europa League, there is a feeling that City, boosted by oil-cash, have left Manchester United trailing in their wake.

Now it has to be said that Manchester United have aspirations of getting back to the summit of both domestic and European football, but that will take time.

But tonight we have a conundrum!

Do you want Manchester City to progress to the Champions League Final knowing they are our rivals accepting that it could be crucial in English football retaining their four places in the Champions League in future years, or do you want them to fall flat on their faces and given the run around by Cristiano Ronaldo and his mates?

Here at Vital Manchester United we`d be interested to hear your views on the subject matter.
