During the last three years, just how many times I`ve written articles linking David de Gea with a move to Real Madrid, must run into dozens.

Even as recently as last summer the subject was covered on more than one occasion as we contemplated whether de Gea would remain at Manchester United for a third consecutive season.

There is no denying that the lure of playing for Real Madrid is something de Gea, as a Spaniard, finds appealing.

But, could de Gea possibly leave Manchester United for a club other than Real Madrid?

Apparently so if one club has its way.

Lurking in the pages of the Express, and lifted from the the French news vehicle Le10Sport, is the insinuation that Paris could be the keepers next stop.

Our referenced source is promoting the fact that Paris Saint-Germain, with huge amounts of cash to burn, are keen to add the goalkeeper to their expanding selection of world stars.

Could it happen?

Can you see it happening?
