Yesterday, in our round-up of all things Manchester United news, we did an article covering Manchester United attempts to ensure Marcus Rashford remains on the books at Old Trafford for the foreseeable future.
Our article, Click Here, mentioned the fact that Manchester United were set to offer the 21-year-old striker a new deal that would see his salary significantly increased, with the terms doubled and trebled being bandied about by the media.
Hopefully, such a deal will ensure that the prolific young striker isn’t tempted by a move away.
But, despite the proposed salary increase, there are further column inches that have appeared today that link Rashford with a move away from Old Trafford.
The media vehicle, Sport 360 carries an article whereby the former Dutch international striker, Patrick Kluivert, suggests that Rashford would be an ideal signing for the Catalan giants, Barcelona.
Now, here at Vital Manchester United, we’re not overly concerned about this latest piece of speculative tittle-tattle but it does show that if both Real Madrid and Barcelona are being mentioned in the same sentence as Marcus Rashford then we certainly have a unique talent on our books and one we should do the utmost to hang on to.
