Last weekend, before domestic football came to an abrupt halt for the latest international break, Manchester United overcame the challenge presented by Brighton to reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

It wasn`t a vintage performance though with Jose Mourinho, in his post-match interview, taking time out to criticise every member of the side apart from Nemanja Matic.

But, in the aftermath of securing a Wembley semi-final against Tottenham Hotspur, we felt duty bound to ask for your votes as to who you believed was the man-of-the-match for Manchester United.

With the poll now closed we can reveal that there were two players who you believed were head-and-shoulders above the rest, Sergio Romero and Nemanja Matic.

But, as they say, there can only be one winner and that accolade falls to Nemanja Matic, with the Serbian midfielder collecting 37% of the votes cast, compared to the 27% collected by Sergio Romero.

Here at Vital Manchester United we`d like to thank you for your participation and ask that you also take the opportunity to vote in our latest front-page poll.
