The media continues to place a lot of attention on the Paul Pogba speculation.

The youngster who left Old Trafford after running down his contract and not agreeing new terms, has carved out something of a reputation for himself in Serie A with Juventus.

In fact the 22-year-old French midfielder has done so well that it was implied that Manchester United might try and lure him back.

But having let Pogba go in the first place, bringing him back at huge cost was always going to invite criticism, even more so when you consider the price being bandied about for his capture at the moment.

This morning the indications being given by the media, infer that our local neighbours are intent on acquiring Pogba and are willing to pay a British record transfer fee, in the region of £60 million to bring him back to the United Kingdom and in the process seeing off the challenge of Barcelona and Chelsea.

Although seeing Pogba in a United shirt would be great, surely we`re better off leaving alone if it is going to cost that sort of fee to bring back somebody we let go for free.
