Over in Paris, an emerging force in European football, Paris St-Germain, continues to flutter its eyelashes at some of the biggest stars in the game.

This morning the respected Spanish news vehicle, Marca, infers that PSG have overtaken Manchester United in the quest to lure Cristiano Ronaldo away from Real Madrid. It`s suggested that PSG are preparing to offer Madrid a sum of £88 million to lure the 30-year-old Portuguese superstar to Paris.

It`s also suggested, continuing on a theme, PSG have not lost interest in our own Angel Di Maria with the UK`s #1 tabloid, The Sun, championing the suggestion that PSG have also approached Manchester United about taking the miss-firing 27-year-old Argentine on a season long loan.

A loan!

Just who do they think they are?
