As England rocked last night, against the Swedes, having seen a lead over-turned, it took a moment of genius from Danny Welbeck to get us back on course.

A sublime back-heel put England level and gave them the platform to move forward and grab the win that should ensure a quarter-final place.

After the match, Theo Walcott, who bagged the winner with another goal worthy of a distinction, had this t say about Danny`s goal, commenting,

“Danny has got that quality in his locker and I`m sure there will be a lot to come from him.”

“If people haven`t heard about Danny in this tournament, they will know about him now.”

“It had everything that goal. The chance was massive and Danny made it look easy.”

“It was class, probably one if the best goals at this tournament – and I`m not saying that because he`s my friend.”

The strange thing is, after that sublime goal, it may well be Danny that makes way for the returning, from suspension, Wayne Rooney.
