|

The last time we touched on the possible signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, our belief was that the player would be an ideal signing, Click Here.

According to what we’re reading in the media over the last forty-eight hours, it would appear the hierarchy, at Old Trafford, hold similar opinions.

Nestling in the pages of the local media source, the Manchester Evening News, is the inference that United will concentrate on securing a deal for the Crystal Palace England U21 defender before moving on to other deals.

However, it would also appear there is still a lot of work to be done to get this deal over the line.

Another source, Sky Sports, are reporting that Crystal Palace have rejected Manchester United’s latest bid for the player, a bid said to be in the region of £50 million.

Clearly, the South London club are ready to drive a hard bargain for the defender, and it remains to be seen at what price Crystal Palace will say yes to a deal.

All we can do is sit tight and wait to see how this one pans out.

My feeling is that a deal will be struck somewhere between £50 million and £55 million, a high price and perhaps a little risky for somebody who has only had the one season in top-flight football.

But it’s a risk I feel we have to take, how about you?
